Luke Cage and Bloodgush had been fighting these monsters for hours now, beating down Symbiotes left and right, but every time they tried to strike the giant symbiote pod, it shot tendrils forth, launching them away from it. Luke Cage tried one more charge, grabbing the tendril when it appeared in an attempt to uproot, but instead the writhing mass of symbiote tentacles that made up the pod uncurled, and a hulking Symbiote was revealed to be growing inside.
